Mermaid Zest Gin blends grapefruit and cascade hops with island bergamot, lemon zest and rosemary, also known as ‘the dew of the sea’ from its Latin origin. The botanical mix is distilled and then infused with our signature gin, for a bright and fresh citrus spirit with a hint of sea air. The result is an infusion of coastal rock samphire and rosemary foraged from the island’s shores, with fruits grown in the Victorian walled garden of Victoria and Albert’s island home, Osborne House.

Inspired by our lush, verdant island, its seagrass beds and the natural world, Mermaid Zest Gin is encased in a classic, emerald green. Traditional of all Mermaid spirits, the bottle has been crafted from Venetian glass and features a sustainably sourced natural cork stopper, a compostable corn and potato starch seal and a recyclable, biodegradable paper label.

Mermaid Zest & Tonic

• 50ml Mermaid Zest Gin
• Fever-Tree Refreshingly Light Mediterranean Tonic
• Fresh Lemon and Rosemary to garnish

Build the ingredients into your favourite gin glass over a handful of ice and gently stir together. Garnish with a wheel of fresh lemon and a sprig of rosemary before enjoying.

Basil Smash

• 60ml Mermaid Zest Gin
• 10ml Lemon Juice
• 10ml Sugar Syrup
• 5-6 Basil Leaves
• Fever-Tree Refreshingly Light Mediterranean Tonic

Muddle the basil leaves in the bottom of a shaker and add the Mermaid Zest Gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup with a handful of ice. Shake before fine straining into a chilled high ball glass and top up with Fever-Tree Mediterranean tonic. Finish by garnishing with a basil leaf.

Viva la Zest

• 50ml Mermaid Zest
• 25ml Lemon Juice
• 25ml Lime Juice
• 50ml Cranberry Juice
• 25ml Sugar Syrup
• 2 dashes of Orange Bitters
• ¼ of a Grapefruit

Muddle the basil grapefruit in the bottom of a shaker and add the rest of the ingredients with a handful of ice. Shake before fine straining into a chilled high ball glass and finish by garnishing with a fresh lime wheel and a sprig of rosemary.
